Who we are

Lion of Judah Martial Arts (LOJMA) was started in 2001 by Head Instructor David Zellner. His goal was to develop a program that brought together all of the training he had learned over his 12 years of experience in the martial arts.

Sensei David Zellner is a 4th Degree Black Belt and has been in the Martial Arts for 35 years. He currently holds an Instructors Degree in Isshinryu Karate and Kobudo JuiJitsu with a background in Inayan Escrima and Jeet Kune Do.

He has attended seminars with many well known Martial Arts Instructors and has been awarded high honors in many Regional and National Tournaments.

Sensei Zellner is a devout Christian with a strong belief that martial arts and the Christian faith can be combined to challenge young people and adults alike to make a difference in their lives and the lives of those around them.

WhAT WE TEACH

The LOJMA program is a blend of realistic self-defense, practical weapons training, and includes empty hand techniques.

LOJMA is unique in its philosophy as it is a Christian-based, family oriented, school. We talk about Judeo-Christian principles and stress strong moral values in each class.

Parents will never have to worry about their child being taught Eastern Religion, Mysticism, or New-Age Religious philosophies that sometimes come with Far East Martial Arts instruction.

Our goal is to empower our students to prepare them to face any challenge whether it be physical, mental, or spiritual.

We strive to instill self-confidence and discipline.
